Pelosi Led Democrats Vacation To “Save The Planet”
Republicans have proposed an all encompassing energy bill that will help the American economy snap back and the Pelosi led Democrat Congress is doing their best to bury it. Plainly, the American people can see that this is election year politics at it’s worst.
Watch these videos Americans, be informed voters in 2008. Pelosi led Democrats in Congress took a 5 week vacation while Americans are being abused at the gas pump and losing their homes, while Pelosi says: “I am trying to save the planet, I am trying to save the panet”…

Listen to this babble:
WOW Nancy Pelosi, is that the Democrat’s Energy Policy – Tap the emergency oil reserves – What are we dealing with here folks?
Prime Minister Pelosi shuts down Congress:

Call Congress Back, Madam Speaker!
Act today. You can help by signing the petition at Call Congress Back Today.
Nancy “Lights Out” Pelosi:
Let’s all vote for more “Change” this year, especially that kind of change – LOL
It’s time for Americans to get involved, stand up and demand Congress to work together. Americans are tired of a broken 2 party system that doesn’t work. We want representation in Congress that works for all Americans. The current Majority Speaker of the House (Nancy Pelosi) just isn’t getting the job done.
The Republicans have offered a good common sense energy policy that embraces a wide spectrum of energy sources including renewable energy sources and Nancy Pelosi will not allow a vote on it because it includes oil industry “Drill Now” provisions in areas where oil companies can recover and produce oil at the lowest cost possible. She has taken a stance following Al Gore, believing that she is on a mission to save the planet reguardless of what the American public is suffering. That’s pretty audacious but dumb and not based in economics, math, or science. It’s purely politically motivated. It’s no wonder that the American public has the worst approval ranking of Congress in 3 decades. It’s time Americans cast off self serving politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Sheila Jackson Lee this year. Let’s put the energy experts back in office. We have all had enough of what the Democrats in Congress brought to our gas pumps and wallets! This isn’t what Houston wants Sheila – You can bet on that in November.
You can help us send John Faulk to Congress in November, today.

FaulkForCongress.org Supports House Minority Leader John A. Boehner’s Leadership
Friday, August 8th, 2008
Minority Leader John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) and other GOP leaders opposed the motion to adjourn the House, arguing that Pelosi’s refusal to schedule a vote allowing offshore drilling is hurting the American economy. They have refused to leave the floor after the adjournment motion passed at 11:23 a.m., and they are busy bashing Pelosi and her fellow Democrats for leaving town for the August recess.
The “Bashing” was well deserved. The Democrats best argument is that the oil companies have many leases they haven’t developed yet. While all the time they are playing on the American public’s lack of knowledge that deep-water leases require much more capital and time to develop than what’s being proposed by Republicans in opening up the OCS (Offshore Continental Shelf) for drilling, development and production.

This is a sad moment in American history:
Pelosi refuses to vote for American Energy Development
Surely most Americans would agree that House Minority Leader John A. Boehner is better suited to be House Majority Leader than Pelosi. If you do, let’s put Republicans back in Congress this year.
If you are not happy with Congress, let’s put the energy experts back in office this year - Vote for a Republican Congress in 2008. Americans can’t afford another 4 years of a Pelosi led Democrat Congress at $4.00/gal at the pump.

Today’s Pressing American Financial Headlines (08-07-08) – Where is Congress?
Thursday, August 7th, 2008
Today’s Pressing Financial Headlines (08-07-08) – Where is Congress?
- AIG Posts Huge 2Q Loss, Shares Plunge – AP
- Citigroup Returning Billions to Investors – AP
- People Seeking Jobless Benefits Hit 6-year High – AP
- Economic Slowdown Just Getting Started, Says Credit Crisis ‘Prophet’- Tech Ticker
Where is Congress? Maybe they don’t believe the America Economy is in “full tilt mode”. Maybe they don’t understand that the housing market isn’t expected to recover in the next several quarters. Maybe they haven’t taken a close look at Freddie Mac’s and Fannie Mae’s books lately. Maybe they just plan to let the taxpayers bail them out! Maybe they don’t even know that taxpayers are bled dry. Maybe they aren’t even concerned about city and state municipalities going bankrupt for lack of property tax revenue.
Where is Congress? The Democrat led Congress just took a 5 week vacation right smack in the middle of a dismal 2nd Quarter financial reporting period where they should have stayed behind on the job supporting their constituency and the Republican Congressional members who chose to stay at work trying to help the nation.
Republicans Protest Congressional Vacation as Gas Prices Soar
ABC News’ Dean Norland Reports: “House Republicans, who insist that Speaker Nancy Pelosi call the House back from its summer recess so votes can be taken on their energy legislation, continued for a third day to make speeches to GOP staff members and Capitol Hill tourists.”
They did so in the dimly-lit chamber of the House of Representatives, without the aid of working television cameras or a public address system. The Republicans became miffed last Friday when Democrats abruptly adjourned the House until September 8 without giving them a chance to speak on the floor about their energy plan, which includes exploring for oil in ANWR and more off-shore drilling.
Even though the House had officially gone out of session, some Republicans stayed on the floor and made speeches anyway.
After taking the weekend off, the guerrilla oratory continued Monday, with organizers of the talk-in estimating that 24 of the 199 House Republicans participated.
At a news conference Tuesday before marching into the House chamber to begin their third day of protest, the GOP dissidents took some credit for the recent drop in the price of oil.
“Markets respond. The market is responding to the fact that we’re here talking,” said Rep. John Shadegg, R-Ariz.
Nine Republicans were present at the news conference. Two of them held a sign asking: “NANCY PELOSI – WE’RE HERE, WHERE ARE YOU?”
You can read the rest of the story here: Republicans Protest Congressional Vacation as Gas Prices Soar
Believe me the markets didn’t respond well to the continuing bad econimic news today on AIG, Citigroup and the Nation’s worsening job news (ref links above):
“Wall Street retreated Thursday (08/07/08) after weekly unemployment claims jumped to a six-year high and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and other retailers reported disappointing sales, touching off renewed fears that a pullback in consumer spending will damage the economy.”
The Pelosi led Democrat Congress just doesn’t seem get it, or maybe they are more interested in electing a Democrat for president, that they have lost sight of their purpose and their constituents!

Why Do Americans Disapprove of Congress By a 90%+ Margin?
Sunday, August 3rd, 2008
Let’s Understand Just How Much the Pelosi Led Democrat Congress Doesn’t Understand – Americans Overwhelmingly Disapprove of Our Democrat Led Congress by more than 90%.
Well, “experts” were right! – Not only did we hit $4.00/gal gas this summer, but we exceeded it. Thank you, Pelosi led Democrat Congress. It’s no wonder that the American public has less than a 10% approval rate of your Democrat led Congress. Your leadership is astounding! What have you done for America in the last 2 years besides fight the administration you should have been supporting?
Pelosi, America has fallen into an energy crisis in the last two years on YOUR WATCH. President Bush is not to blame. Your rhetoric has helped portray our president as a “Big Oil Blabbering Idiot”… “What goes around comes around”. It certainly looks like it’s your time to wear that title:
Did you hear that, not only did the Democrat Speaker of the Congress not know the price of gas Americans are faced with but she thought that $3.50/gallon was 6 cents a gallon less than the price she quoted @ $2.56/gallon? I don’t think it comes any clearer that she is “lost in space”. It’s no wonder the American public disapproves of Congress. It’s hard to believe that the Speaker of the House is so out of touch that not only does she not know the price of gas but that she thinks that $3.50/gallon is 6 cents less than $2.56/gallon. It’s time Americans of all persuasions put down their prejudices and vote these buffoons out of office! If we end up with a Democrat for president, we are going to need an energy industry friendly Republican Congress to balance complete and utter idiocy in the next 4 years.
America – We definitely need to teach more Science and Math in our schools!
