Houston Voters in the Texas 18th Congressional District have a Real Clear Choice This Year
On one hand we can choose:
Sheila Jackson Lee from Queens, New York, a far left radical liberal who abandoned her constituency this year, doesn’t properly support Houston’s oil and gas industry or Houston jobs and let all Americans down in the Mortgage Crisis and Economic Meltdown. In 14 years she had 1 bill passed costing American taxpayers millions of dollars to place a bust of somebody, somewhere in a “hall of fame”.
On the other hand we can choose:
John Faulk from Houston, Texas; a Moderate Republican, Business Owner (Accounting) & Stately Southern Gentleman with a solid background and education in the financial and healthcare industries, sporting acumen we need in Congress right now… who will support all of us in Houston going forward:

Take a few minutes to click on the links for both candidates above and read through several of the posts here before you vote.
There’s never been a clearer choice for voters to choose the right Representative for the Texas 18th Congressional District, representing Houston.
Let’s get everyone out and vote for John Faulk today, no matter who you vote for as president.
Sheila Jackson Lee made it real clear this year that she supports Sheila Jackson Lee before anyone else in her district, Houston, Texas or the US!
Vote for John Faulk to recover Texas Congressional Integrity today.
Reaching Out Together – John Faulk will serve us all!
This is Houston’s best chance to finally rid ourselves of the Ken Lay hand picked Congressional Representative; Sheila Jackson Lee.
Let’s finally cast Houston out from under that ”clouded” legacy this election year

What can you do if you are upset with Sheila Jackson Lee!
Sunday, November 2nd, 2008
Almost 20,000 Democrat Primary Voters would not vote for Sheila Jackson Lee in the March Primary.
I have been telling voter that they can vote for me, John Faulk, and still vote an almost straight Democrat Ticket.
On Channel 11 (see the link below) I guess I have started something.
“Many voters expressed concern about voting a straight-party ticket. “I really didn’t know how to do the straight Democrat (ticket). It thought maybe you had to pick the Democrat you want and go down the whole list,” voter Tina Ross said.
State elections officials and Republican and Democratic representatives said voters can fill out a straight-party ticket and then vote to support candidates from the other party for any race they want.”
We really have the best chance to defeat one of the most Liberal entrenched Democrats whose only claim to fame is getting her picture taken.
Please call your friends and neighbors and encourage them to elect me to the US House of Representatives from the Texas 18 Congressional District!
Better yet invite them to go to the polls with you on Tuesday!
Friends don’t vote by themselves.
John
American Voters know which politicians failed us in the Mortgage Meltdown!

25 Reasons To Vote For John Faulk

25 Reasons for Houston Voters to Elect John Faulk to Congress Instead of Sheila Jackson Lee
1. Dire Economic Times – The U.S. is in Dire Economic times, faced with a prolonged recession if not a depression. John Falk has the financial, economic and healthcare background we need in Congress with a B.B.A. in Behavioral Management Science from the University of Houston in 1971 and an M.B.A., University of Houston, 1980 in healthcare administration and accounting. Sheila Jackson Lee is an attorney that helped us get into this mess as a do nothing member of “The Most Do Nothing Congress in American History”. She has been in office for 14 years and not helped stave off or even recognized these problems coming. John is a much better choice to help turn the nations economy around and help safeguard Houston’s economy going forward.
2. John Faulk is Against Pork Barrell Spending and will act in American’s behalf as a watchdog over runaway Congressional spending. Sheila Jackson Lee believes Taxpayer Money Grows on Trees – SJL Requested $408 Million in Earmarks for Fiscal Year 2009.
3. John Faulk Supports a “Do All and Do It Now” American Energy Independence Policy – John understands the importance of the 5000 Oil & Gas related companies in the Greater Houston area and the jobs they represent. Energy companies are one of the nation’s and Houston’s best bets for job creation in difficult economic times. Sheila Jackson Lee doesn’t fully support the Oil & Gas Industry. In fact SJL views one of Houston’s primary revenue and job source industries as “less desirable fruit in a fruit basket“.
4. John Will be Loyal to His Constituency – Why did Sheila Jackson Lee Abandon Black Voters in Her District This Election Year? . Sheila seems to have loyalty issues with her closest circle of Congressional peers also: Sheila Jackson Lee Abandoned the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC).
5. John Faulk is Better Suited to Serve Houston’s World Class Medical Community – With John’s background in healthcare, an “MBA in Healthcare Administration and Accounting” and having worked in the Healthcare Industry he will better understand the needs and work harder to promote Houston’s world renound medical community than a lawyer (SJL) ever could, would or has.
6. John Faulk will work to reestablish appropiate “Governance” over our financial establishments and systems. Sheila Jackson Lee took money from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Lehman Bros! : American Banking Failures, The Mortgage Crisis & Our Politicians Who Looked The Other Way – Who Failed Us? : Sheila Jackson Lee has been bought and paid for by the banks
7. John Faulk will be productive in Congress – Sheila Jackson Lee has one of the Worst Bill Sponsorship Records in Congressional History.
8. John Faulk is a Houston Native with a much better understanding of our economy & heritage than Sheila Jackson Lee from Queens, New York could ever hope to. Texas State Rifle Association has Endorsed John Faulk while rating Sheila Jackson Lee with an “F” for her anti-gun voting record.

Houston Voters Have a Strong Political Voice This Year
Almost a year ago John Faulk, political contender running against Sheila Jackson Lee for the Texas 18th Congressional Seat initiated a new website and authorized a blog to help give Texas Voters and particularly Houston Voters a voice in government this election year.
Not long after going live the “Library of Congress” approached us asking permission to index John’s websites as permanent and important “Digitally Born Media” to be permanently archived in the annals of American History. We granted permission.
John Faulk’s website and blog are seeing a great deal of voter interest with a combined 60,000-80,000 page views per month as we march toward election day.
We recently opened “The 18th District Blog” for all American, Texas and Houston voters to come join us and be heard.
With your participation we may realize 100,000 page views this month before we walk into the voting booths.
Houston voters are faced with a number of grave issues this year and we need to be heard. Join us where your voice will be heard this year at:
John Faulk for Congress
The Texas 18th District Blog
You will be heard at the “Texas 18th District Blog”. Join us and read any of the hundreds of posts, reply and/or use the “Social Toolbar” at the bottom of any post to quickly send a link to friends, family, co-workers, associates and social networks. Spread the word for John Faulk today.
John Faulk has indeed provided a strong voice for Houston voters this year.

Faulk Launches Ground Campaign to Defeat Sheila Jackson Lee!!!!
Thursday, October 9th, 2008
We are getting the campaign set up for a win!
There are 195 prcts in CD18 with registered voters. Currently there are 66 precincts with Republican Party precinct chairs, and other folks are signing up to be the precinct leaders in other precincts for the John Faulk for Congress campaign. Even precinct chairs and other folks outside our district are jumping in to help this cause!
The method by which this is becoming a winning campaign is that we have created a database of all registered voters in CD18. We have already identified 10,000 plus active plus voters and many Democrats! We will be doing robo-calling & block walking to ID more possible supporters. With this database we will be keeping a running tally of support. It serves as a tool available for the precinct leaders to GOTV. First we targeted voter identification through the months of August and September by calling and block-walking. We then concentrated our efforts to encourage early voting to all “tagged” voters in our database through the precinct leadership.
We will also be reaching every actual voter by manning the early voting locations in the district. After early voting and before election day we will be able to ID which of our supporters had not yet voted and these reports will go out to the precinct leaders for the final GOTV. To discuss these plans and other strategies, like the specifics of a new fast fun and efficient block-walking method we will be using this coming Saturday, Besides campaigning for Faulk while we are out on the street, we will possibly be working with other Republican candidates for GOTV.
Gov. Sarah Palin has excited the top of the ticket; the contest in CD18 between John Faulk and Sheila Jackson Lee is amazingly hopeful!
First, SJL’s Democrat constituents are continuing to become unhappy with her: she offers no constituent services, she had 20,000 under-votes in the Democratic Primary this year, some are still upset that she is a super-delegate for Hilary Clinton. There has been no better year, no better timing, than now, to defeat Sheila Jackson Lee, while the Democrats are not happy with her and will choose anyone else just to get rid of her, and while there has been a fresh influx of 58,000 new residents in the new developments in the district!
The only reason this evil has triumphed is good people had nothing they could do. Now we do! Let’s do something BIG! Please invite your family, friends and neighbors. High school and college students are welcome! I look forward to working with you on the campaign trail.

Who Cares About Margaret Sanger? Should Sheila Jackson Lee?
Monday, September 8th, 2008
Does Sheila Jackson Lee approve of the largest late-term abortion clinic being in her district?
Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood. Wasn’t she the one who performed a service to society by making abortion and contraception available . No! Not actually. Only to a few. Rather than talk abot the few, let’s look at the many.
Her purpose was to prevent reproduction by the many:
“On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
“…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ’spawning… human beings who never should have been born.” Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people
On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial “purification,” couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.
Go here for the details: In Her Own Words
She doesn’t look like a happy, benevolent person.
Why is she mentioned on this blog? John Faulk has found out that the largest late-term abortion clinic is located in your neighborhood. Who are they targeting. You! Planned Parenthood doesn’t think you should be here. Well read Candidate John Faulk’s letter below and get them out of here. And mark your calendar.
Please help me get this information out.
The Planned Parenthood’s largest late-term abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere is located in the Texas 18th Congressional District.
Congressional Challengers Eric Story ( TX 29 CD) and John Faulk (TX 18 CD) are hosting a Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting this Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Berean Baptist Church, 102050 North Freeway (I 45 North At West Road), Houston, TX77037.
Center for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR) trucks will be displaying 22 feet by 7 feet images of aborted human beings throughout Houston on September 8, 9 & 10.
On Monday, September 8 between 12 noon and 1 PM, the moving billboards will be driven in support of the Houston Coalition for Life’s protests at 4600 Gulf Freeway. This site is being remodeled by Planned Parenthood into the largest late-term abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere.
On Tuesday, the moving billboards will be driven on busy downtown streets, the University of Houston’s main campus and around a high school campus.
On Wednesday between 12 noon and 1 PM, the moving billboards will be driven in support of the Houston Coalition for Life’s protest at the 1770 St. James Place offices of Meyerson Builders Inc., the general contractor for the remodeling the late-term abortion facility.
On Thursday the Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting will give you an opportunity to discuss what your vote can do to stop this genocide.
It has been estimated that out of the 53 million babies that have been aborted since Roe vrs. Wade, 13 million were have been African-American. Perhaps one of those aborted African-Americans would have had the opportunity to be the first African-American to run for President!
This election will change the fabric of the United States of America. Your informed vote is all that is needed to change the course of history.
Please go to rsvp@faulkforcongress.org to RSVP your attendance to the Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting this Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Berean Baptist Church, 102050 North Freeway (I 45 North At West Road), Houston, TX77037.

The party of John F Kennedy (Not Today’s Party)
Saturday, September 6th, 2008
In these introductory words Larry Elder talks about National Security. A little further into his column Larry Elder talks about fiscal and economic issues plaguing our country today and how John F Kennedy responded to such issues. I suggest you take a couple minutes and read his column. Click Here. He is the same Larry Elder you see on TV. He is also an attorney and more. His biography is listed along with his column. Kennedy did not believe in run-away spending and Kennedy did believe in personal responsibility. A major change from today’s political partys.
“The John F. Kennedy legacy came up repeatedly during the Democratic National Convention. But today, would JFK even be a Democrat?
Kennedy supported, in today’s lexicon, a George W. Bush-like “belligerent” approach to fighting the Cold War, and told CBS’ Walter Cronkite it would be “a great mistake” to withdraw the American presence from Vietnam. In his 1961 inaugural speech, Kennedy said, “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
How would such a man feel about fighting today’s global peril — Islamofascism? ”
You can help us send John Faulk to Congress in November, today.

The Fairness Doctrine or Why you should vote for John Faulk
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008
Congressman Mike Pence (R -IN) is working hard to protect our right of Freedom of Speech. Pence introduced the bill, Broadcaster Freedom Act (HR 2905) on October 17, 2007. Sheila Jackson Lee’s best buddies, Nancy Pelosi and her other liberal cohorts are doing all they can to silence conservative and all other American’s voices and opinions on talk radio.
Sheila Jackson Lee can get all of the press, TV and radio time on any subject she wants for free if she can couch the press conference or town hall meeting as having something to do with “carrying out her official duties” ie cooper theft, railroads too close to homes, Martin Luther King Parade, investigating the Harris County Grand Jury Joe Horn no-bill decision. Even if I am at one of these meetings I cannot get any air time unless I purchase it. I am running radio ads every other day on KSEV 700AM between 6:00AM and 9:00AM. They will run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday the week of July 21st.
I ask you to call Sheila Jackson Lee’s Houston (713 655-0050) and Washington DC (202) 225-3816) office and demand that she sign the discharge petition for H. RES. 694 providing for the consideration of the bill (H.R. 2905) to prevent the Federal Communications Commission from repromulgating the fairness doctrine.
After you make your call, which I expect will be a very enlightening experience, please call into the Pat Gray show 281-558-5738 mention my campaign and relate to the rest of us your experience! If you are not comfortable calling in on the radio please email me what happened. I will guess that Shiela’s staff will not be able to tell you anything about the petition.
John

Sheila Jackson Lee must really be proud! Elian Gonzales joined Cuba’s Young Communist Union on June 15, 2008.
Friday, June 20th, 2008
In addition to being one of the most liberal Democrats in Congress, has Sheila Jackson-Lee become a Communist recruiter?
Is she celebrating the results of her actions eight years ago?
For those who don’t know the story behind the headlines; Elian Gonzales survived a boating accident off the Florida coast that killed his mother, who was attempting to escape to the U.S. After an extended period of relentless media coverage (during which Republican lawmakers acknowledged they did not have the votes to pass a bill to give Elian U.S. citizenship), the U.S. Courts refused to give the boy amnesty and decided that Elian’s father, who lived in Cuba, rather than the boy’s maternal grandparents in Florida should have custody.
Under orders from Attorney General Janet Reno in the pre-dawn hours of April 22, the Saturday of Easter weekend, eight SWAT-equipped agents of the Border Patrol’s BORTAC unit approached the house, knocked, and identified themselves. When no one responded from within, they entered the house. Pepper-spray and mace were employed against those outside the house who attempted to interfere. Nonetheless, a stool, rocks, and bottles were thrown at the agents.
In the confusion Alan Diaz, of the Associated Press, was able to enter the house and entered a room with Elian, his great uncle’s wife Angela Lazaro, her niece, the niece’s young son, and Donato Dalrymple (one of the fishermen who had rescued him from the ocean). They waited in the room listening to agents search the house. Once they found the locked door to the room, agents kicked it down and Alan Diaz took his famous picture (he won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography) showing a BORTAC Agent with a MP5 submachine gun pointed toward Elian and Donato Dalrymple. The Agent had his trigger finger along the frame of the weapon. Dalrymple had taken Elian and had tried to hide himself and the boy in the closet but it was too stuffed with clothes.
Elian Gonzalez was returned to Cuba with his father, Juan Miguel Gonzalez, on June 28, 2000. He lived with his family in Cardenas, where his father, Juan Miguel, was a waiter at an Italian restaurant about 20 km northwest of Cardenas. The Cuban State Security set up a monitoring station right next door. Juan Miguel became a member of the National Assembly and attended events for the Communist Party of Cuba with Elian, who was called up to the stage to meet Fidel Castro. Castro also attended a filmed birthday party of Elian with his schoolmates. On the video of the birthday party, a female clown told Elian to blow out the birthday cake candles with Fidel to his right and surrounded by Elian’s schoolmates.
DATELINE:April 23, 2000: SHEILA JACKSON-LEE:
This is a very special day for many Christians, a day of ultimate sacrifice and forgiveness. And I think Americans should focus today on the fact that a little boy is reunited with his father and his family and focus on the healing for Elian and focus on the fact that we did the right thing. In particular, noting the passion of the Cuban Americans and the passion of the Miami relatives, it was extremely important to make sure that Elian was reunited with his father.
COMMENTATOR:
So you support the two of them going back to Cuba, if indeed that’s what happens.
LEE:
I certainly would, because I think it is the choice of the father for the family to be reunited. It is not a political issue. It should not be politicized, and I applaud Janet Reno and the operations that went very safely, and I think Americans need to understand that if the rule of law is to be followed, then we need to support our law enforcement for a magnificent effort of having secured Elian safely without one gun being fired. I applaud her for her initiative and her passion for the people in Miami and for having this day, a day where Elian Gonzalez is reunited with a loving father, his stepmother, and his new baby brother.
Now 14, Elian was 6 when his relatives in Miami, Florida, lost their fight to keep him in the United States and he was returned to Cuba in mid-2000 with his father. He joined the Young Communist Union of Cuba in June 2008.
I am reminded of the story of the man who, while walking the beach, saw someone in the distance leaning down, picking something up and throwing it into the sea. As he came closer, he saw thousands of starfish the tide had thrown onto the beach. Unable to return to the ocean during low tide, the starfish were dying. He observed a young boy picking up the starfish one by one and throwing them back into the ocean.
After watching the seemingly futile effort, the observer said, “There must be thousands of starfish on this beach. It would be impossible for you to save all of them. There are simply too many. You can’t possibly make a difference.”
The young boy smiled as he picked up another starfish and tossed it back into the ocean. “It made a difference to that one,” he replied.
Sheila Jackson Lee truly “made a difference to that one”. According to the Communist youth newspaper Juventud Rebelde, Elian Gonzalez has said he will never let down ex-President Fidel Castro and his brother Raul Castro, who succeeded Fidel as president earlier this year.
Now we can make a DIFFERENCE by electing John Faulk to the Texas 18th Congressional District on November 4, 2008.
