Commentary Magazine Challenges CD 18 to Defeat Sheila Jackson Lee

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

In pondering whether or not Sheila Jackson Lee used government money to attend Michael Jackson’s funeral, Commentary Magazine ponders:

If she indeed did use government money to pay for her junket to the Jackson send-off, Jackson Lee will have to eventually report it. But given the tolerance of the people of Texas’s 18th Congressional District for this sort of ridiculous behavior, Jackson Lee doesn’t have a thing to worry about.

I hope you will disagree. We just need to raise $21,000 more and the Faulk for Congress Campaign to defeat Sheila Jackson Lee is on the radar. Can you help?

Is Sheila Jackson Lee Honoring Texas Election Law?

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Reports are coming into the Faulk for Congress Headquarters that Sheila Jackson Lee is making the rounds to polling places, going inside and shaking hands.

Texas Election Law require candidates to maintain a 100ft distance from all polling places while conducting any campaign activity!

According to Texas Election Law, if she is campaigning inside polling places she is breaking the law.

I am honoring Texas Election Law and expect my opponent to do the same.

Houston Voters in the Texas 18th Congressional District have a Real Clear Choice This Year

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Houston Voters in the Texas 18th Congressional District have a Real Clear Choice This Year

On one hand we can choose:

Sheila Jackson Lee from Queens, New York, a far left radical liberal who abandoned her constituency this year, doesn’t properly support Houston’s oil and gas industry or Houston jobs and let all Americans down in the Mortgage Crisis and Economic Meltdown. In 14 years she had 1 bill passed costing American taxpayers millions of dollars to place a bust of somebody, somewhere in a “hall of fame”.

No More Sheila Jackson Lee

On the other hand we can choose:

John Faulk from Houston, Texas; a Moderate Republican, Business Owner (Accounting) & Stately Southern Gentleman with a solid background and education in the financial and healthcare industries, sporting acumen we need in Congress right now… who will support all of us in Houston going forward:

John Faulk - Stately Southern Gentleman - Texas

Take a few minutes to click on the links for both candidates above and read through several of the posts here before you vote.

There’s never been a clearer choice for voters to choose the right Representative for the Texas 18th Congressional District, representing Houston.

Let’s get everyone out and vote for John Faulk today, no matter who you vote for as president.

Sheila Jackson Lee made it real clear this year that she supports Sheila Jackson Lee before anyone else in her district, Houston, Texas or the US!

Vote for John Faulk to recover Texas Congressional Integrity today.

Reaching Out Together – John Faulk will serve us all!

This is Houston’s best chance to finally rid ourselves of the Ken Lay hand picked Congressional Representative; Sheila Jackson Lee.

Let’s finally cast Houston out from under that ”clouded” legacy this election year

Engineer2

Everywhere I look, I find more reasons to vote for John Faulk and send Sheila Jackson Lee home to New York!

Faulk for Congress Campaign Signs Illegally Removed

Monday, October 27th, 2008

This weekend I was e-mailed a disturbing e-mail by one of the Faulk For Congress Campaign workers and was asked to place it on this blog. I have copied it below just as I received it:

October 24, 2008
Approximately 3:00 pm

Today, my daughter and I were campaigning outside the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center at 1475 West Gray. We had an unfortunate experience with Ms. Peggy Turner, a city employee of the center as a recreational therapist. She had taken down some of the John Faulk signs, and was walking towards the parking lot. I asked her why she was taking the signs, and she said that these signs are too large, they cannot be placed here. I said that is fine, we will take them down, but please give them back to me. I said we would place these signs upside down on the ground, so no one can see them. Peggy stated to the effect that it was not good enough; you must take them off premises.

Peggy Turner taking Faulk For Congress Campaign Signs:
Illegal Removal of Faulk For Congress Campaign Signs

I called Mr. Faulk, and a similar event happened this past Monday, and at that time, Mr. Faulk asked Ms. Tuner to call for a police officer to issue a municipal citation. An HPD talked with Mr. Faulk and explained that he would contact a City of Houston prosecutor to determine if there was a size limit for political signs; therefore, the signs should not be taken down. The HPD sergeant informed Mr. Faulk that in fact there was no limit or restrictions on political signs. Ms. Turner knew that the signs were acceptable, and they should NOT BE removed. However, she took it upon herself to take down John Faulk signs, being deceitful giving me information she knew was false and committing theft of personal property in excess of $75.

John Faulk discusses illegal sign removal with Houston Police:

Obviously, there are concerns on several levels:

  • Why is a City of Houston employee, who is paid by taxpayer dollars, taking down political signs while she is on the job even after she was told not to? Believe me, she was NOT providing any recreational therapy to anyone in my view for the three hours at the poll.
  • Why did she knowingly lie to me?
  • Why is a recreational therapist and not an election official regulating political signs?
  • Why when given information previously that it is permitted to have any size political signs in front of polling places, did she take it upon self to AGAIN violate the rule?
  • Why was she only concerned about John Faulk?s sign and not any of the other candidates?

Is this what we have to look forward to with a Democratic political machine???

God Help us ALL.

Faulk Launches Ground Campaign to Defeat Sheila Jackson Lee!!!!

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

We are getting the campaign set up for a win!

There are 195 prcts in CD18 with registered voters.  Currently there are 66 precincts with Republican Party precinct chairs, and other folks are signing up to be the precinct leaders in other precincts for the John Faulk for Congress campaign.  Even precinct chairs and other folks outside our district are jumping in to help this cause!

The method by which this is becoming a winning campaign is that we have created a database of all registered voters in CD18.  We have already identified 10,000 plus active plus voters and many Democrats!  We will be doing robo-calling & block walking to ID more possible supporters.  With this database we will be keeping a running tally of support.  It serves as a tool available for the precinct leaders to GOTV. First we targeted voter identification through the months of August and September by calling and block-walking.  We then concentrated our efforts to encourage early voting to all “tagged” voters in our database through the precinct leadership.

We will also be reaching every actual voter by manning the early voting locations in the district. After early voting and before election day we will be able to ID which of our supporters had not yet voted and these reports will go out to the precinct leaders for the final GOTV. To discuss these plans and other strategies, like the specifics of a new fast fun and efficient block-walking method we will be using this coming Saturday,  Besides campaigning for Faulk while we are out on the street, we will possibly be working with other Republican candidates for GOTV.

Gov. Sarah Palin has excited the top of the ticket; the contest in CD18 between John Faulk and Sheila Jackson Lee is amazingly hopeful!

First, SJL’s Democrat constituents are continuing to become unhappy with her: she offers no constituent services, she had 20,000 under-votes in the Democratic Primary this year, some are still upset that she is a super-delegate for Hilary Clinton. There has been no better year, no better timing, than now, to defeat Sheila Jackson Lee, while the Democrats are not happy with her and will choose anyone else just to get rid of her, and while there has been a fresh influx of 58,000 new residents in the new developments in the district!

The only reason this evil has triumphed is good people had nothing they could do. Now we do!  Let’s do something BIG! Please invite your family, friends and neighbors.  High school and college students are welcome! I look forward to working with you on the campaign trail.

More than ever before Americans need to elect members of Congress with strong financial backgrounds instead of lawyers who put us in this situation like Sheila Jackson Lee.

Who Cares About Margaret Sanger? Should Sheila Jackson Lee?

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Does Sheila Jackson Lee approve of the largest late-term abortion clinic being in her district?

Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood.  Wasn’t she the one who performed a service to society by making abortion and contraception available .  No! Not actually.  Only to a few.  Rather than talk abot the few, let’s look at the many.

Her purpose was to prevent reproduction by the many:

On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
“…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ’spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”  Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people

On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial “purification,” couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.

Go here for the details: In Her Own Words

She doesn’t look like a happy, benevolent person.

Why is she mentioned on this blog?  John Faulk has found out that the largest late-term abortion clinic is located in your neighborhood.  Who are they targeting.  You!  Planned Parenthood doesn’t think you should be here.  Well read Candidate John Faulk’s letter below and get them out of here.  And mark your calendar.

Please help me get this information out.

The Planned Parenthood’s largest late-term abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere is located in the Texas 18th Congressional District.

Congressional Challengers Eric Story ( TX 29 CD) and John Faulk (TX 18 CD) are hosting a Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting  this Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Berean Baptist Church, 102050 North Freeway (I 45 North At West Road), Houston, TX77037.

Center for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR) trucks will be displaying 22 feet by 7 feet images of aborted human beings throughout Houston on September 8, 9 & 10.

On Monday, September 8 between 12 noon and 1 PM, the moving billboards will be driven in support of the Houston Coalition for Life’s protests at 4600 Gulf Freeway.  This site is being remodeled by Planned Parenthood into the largest late-term abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere.

On Tuesday, the moving billboards will be driven on busy downtown streets, the University of Houston’s main campus and around a high school campus.

On Wednesday between 12 noon and 1 PM, the moving billboards will be driven in support of the Houston Coalition for Life’s protest at the 1770 St. James Place offices of Meyerson Builders Inc., the general contractor for the remodeling the late-term abortion facility.

On Thursday the Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting will give you an opportunity to discuss what your vote can do to stop this genocide.

It has been estimated that out of the 53 million babies that have been aborted since Roe vrs. Wade, 13 million were have been African-American.  Perhaps one of those aborted African-Americans would have had the opportunity to be the first African-American to run for President!

This election will change the fabric of the United States of America.  Your informed vote is all that is needed to change the course of history.

Please go to rsvp@faulkforcongress.org to RSVP your attendance to the Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting  this Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Berean Baptist Church, 102050 North Freeway (I 45 North At West Road), Houston, TX77037.
