| Second Amendment Rights |
 They
say that if a father was a hunter his children will be hunters.
My dad carried mail for 37 years and spent his free time fishing
not hunting. I inherited my granddad’s 22 rifle. I had
it cleaned and polished, and stored it by my front door. One
of these days I will get around to buying some bullets for it.
The Second
Amendment is not about hunting but it is about you and me defending
our homes and making our families safe.
I believe that every citizen has the individual right "...to
keep and bear arms..." and this right "...shall
not be infringed."
As your congressman, I will vigorously defend against all attempts
to whittle away at our Second Amendment right. Until big government
figures out a way to keep criminals from having access to guns
illegally, then I will make sure you and I can keep ours legally. |
