From the Desk of John Faulk
My name is John Faulk. I am running for Congress because I believe that prosperity is possible. By "prosperity", I mean something that is our birthright as Americans and as Texans, but which we haven't seen in a long time.

Prosperity means that there is a good job for everyone who is willing to show up on time and do his or her best. Prosperity means that, as a worker, you are in demand. Employers are competing for your services. Wages are rising.

Prosperity means that you don't need to be afraid. If you lose one job, there is another waiting for you. You can save for the future without worrying that your savings will be confiscated by inflation. You can plan your career, plan your business, and plan your life, without having your plans thwarted by financial panics and crises. You are free to succeed without having your success confiscated by unfair taxes.

Prosperity means seeing progress everywhere you look: better houses, better cars, better schools, better roads, better technology of all kinds. Prosperity means Americans back on the moon and heading for Mars.

Prosperity is possible, but it will not be achieved via "stimulus", bailouts, TARP, and government takeovers of autos, banking, and health care. In other words, it will not be achieved through the things that Sheila Jackson Lee has voted for.

Please look at my positions on the issues and see if you also believe that prosperity is possible, peace is possible, and freedom is possible. If you do, please vote for me on November 2.

God bless you, the United States and Texas

John Faulk
